A byline should explain who is accountable for a piece and how it was produced.

Byline policy

A person is credited only when they participated and can assume editorial responsibility. Automated tools do not create a fictional person or byline.

Traceability

Each piece retains dates, sources, reviews and material changes. Assisted workflows are disclosed where relevant without presenting them as direct human experience.
