Local availability and promotion dates
Samsung Argentina announced that the Galaxy Tab S12+ and Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra have been available in the country since October 21, 2026. The launch campaign runs through November 4 and covers purchases from Samsung’s online store and physical stores. These dates and terms apply to Argentina and do not, by themselves, indicate availability in other markets.
The offer combines installment financing, discounts, trade-ins of used devices and subscription benefits. The terms vary by benefit: financing depends on the bank or payment method, while other offers may be limited by sales channel or have their own conditions. The campaign has a defined end date, so its incentives should not be confused with permanent tablet features.
Differences between the Tab S12+ and Tab S12 Ultra
The announced size difference is straightforward: the Tab S12+ has a 12.6-inch display, while the Tab S12 Ultra has a 14.6-inch screen and is 5.1 mm thick. Samsung says both models feature Dynamic AMOLED 2X panels, up to 1,600 nits of brightness, a 3 nm processor and IP68 water and dust resistance. These are manufacturer specifications, not results of independent testing.
Screen size is a practical way to compare the two versions: the Ultra offers more visible area, while the S12+ has the smaller panel. Samsung also advertises up to 23 hours of battery life and up to seven generations of operating-system and security updates for the series. Battery life is expressed as a maximum, and the update commitment is stated in generations, not as a duration in years.

Accessories and apps included with the offer
Samsung says both models come with an S Pen and Slim Keyboard Cover in the box. The company positions the series for productivity and creative work, and the launch includes benefits for apps such as Canva Pro, Adobe Photoshop, Notability, Google AI Pro, Goodnotes, Notion, Clip Studio Paint and LumaFusion. The promotional periods vary by service: the package includes time-limited trials and discounts, not one permanent subscription shared across every app.
For people who already use one of these tools, the promotional period affects its practical value: Samsung lists six months for Canva Pro and Google AI Pro, four months for Adobe Photoshop and one year for Goodnotes, among other durations. The company also says Photoshop comes preinstalled and adapted for large screens, with S Pen support, on these Android tablets. The offer does not make all app features free indefinitely.
Financing, discounts and trade-in
During the campaign, Samsung advertises up to 18 interest-free installments with Galicia Éminent Mastercard and up to 15 installments with other banks. For online purchases, it offers an ARS 160,000 rebate when paying with MODO, as well as a 20% discount for payment in a single installment. The advertised offers have specific terms; check the conditions for the chosen payment method and sales channel.
The trade-in program lets customers hand in a used smartphone or tablet as part payment, even if its screen is broken. Samsung advertises an additional saving of up to 35% toward the Tab S12+ or Tab S12 Ultra. That percentage is a promoted maximum, not a fixed valuation for every device: the actual offer depends on the item handed in and the program’s terms.
Samsung also announced a Samsung PrePaid Card worth ARS 700,000, available through October 20. When sales began on October 21, the card amount became an ARS 1,400,000 discount on the purchase, which Samsung presents as a net saving of ARS 700,000. This option had an advance purchase deadline before official sales began, separate from the rest of the campaign.
Try-before-you-buy program and purchase considerations
Samsung’s “Buy and Try” program gives customers up to 60 days to request a return and full refund if they decide not to keep the tablet. It applies to purchases made through the official online store or Samsung Shop app and is subject to the program’s terms. Eligibility depends on the purchase channel, so the offer should not be assumed to cover purchases from every retailer.
When comparing the two versions, display size is a confirmed difference: 12.6 inches for the Tab S12+ and 14.6 inches for the Tab S12 Ultra. It is also worth checking which benefit applies to the chosen payment method and whether the promotional apps will be useful during their trial periods. Samsung’s announced campaign ends on November 4, 2026, and its terms are specific to Argentina; offers in other markets may differ.
